When such desire is elevated and sanctified—like it was through the virgin birth of the Son of Man—it can become a holy force. In that sacred form, even the body can be used to help lead erring humanity toward redemption. Throughout history, whenever people misunderstood truth and gave way to free love or misused sexuality, they fell into moral decline. Yet when sexual union is guided by purpose, commitment, and spiritual alignment, it can create beauty, truth, love, hope, peace, and harmony. These forces ignite inspiration in artists and creators.
